The Healthy Minds Project

Update! The Take Care Fair was a huge hit! Thank you to everyone who participated in the Take Care Fairview project, particularly the volunteers  without whom this project could not have happened. Check out the photos from the event here!

Life is full of ups and downs. It is normal for our emotional state to change on a day-to-day basis and in periods throughout our lives. When our minds are healthy and strong, we are more resilient to life’s challenges, able to use healthy coping methods, have better relationships, and maintain our overall health and well-being. That’s why it is important to be proactive about our mental health!

National PTA developed the PTA Healthy Minds Program to help families make mental health an everyday priority. We are excited to announce that Fairview PTA has been awarded the Healthy Minds Grant. Only 50 PTAs in the entire country received this $2500 grant.

We are also proud to announce Take Care Fairview, our Healthy Minds Project. Please watch this space for valuable resources and be sure to mark your calendars for our special event, The Take Care Fair, on  Saturday, April 15, 2023 from 11 am to 2 pm!
